Beautiful Chaos & Dance

I often talk about my life in terms of being a beautiful chaos. Trying to juggle 4 kids, extra curricular activities, Dance studio commitments and running my virtual dance business among other things, leaves me feeling like I'm standing in the eye of a tornado most of the time. I wouldn't trade a second of it for any other life. Hence the idea of beautiful chaos.

This month, which also happens to be my birthday month, is the epitome of that beautiful chaos. Summer classes for one studio started two weeks ago, but we have yet to have our national dance competition, nor our annual showcase. However, last week, the other studio had 3 shows in two days, and their summer session started yesterday. The kids are on summer break. Nationals will be next week. I've got to figure out what is what. ha ha ha.

So.....this week and next should feel something like this:

June 20th 6:30pm PST Jazz Dance class

June 20th 7:00pm PST Belly Dance class

Saturday June 21st &:30AM Ballet Class

June 21st 12:00PM PST Free dance Demo/ class

Sunday June 22nd 7:30AM PST tumbling/ inversion/ stretch

9:00AM Ballet

9:30 stretch and flexibility

11:00am Summer improv dance

Monday June 23rd 12:15pm PST Ballet

Tuesday June 24th 6:30pm Summer improv dance

Tuesday June 24th 7pm PST Tap dance

Thursday June 26th 12:15pm PST Hula Hoop flow

All private lessons will be on schedule as usual.

This is where things get a bit chaotic. Friday we are prepping for Nationals. And I'm not sure what the actually schedule of events consists of that week yet. I'm still going to teach as many group and private lessons a time permits to help us all keep on a regular schedule. Thank you so much for understanding. Things will return to almost routine by July 3rd, but I may have one day of additional chaos when we get out our annual recital mid July.

As chaotic as it may feel from time to time, I still wouldn't trade a moment of it. Every dance class, every rehearsal, every lesson, every performance, every competition, and all the driving, traveling, and experiences, friendships, and moments that go hand in hand, and step by step.
