Preventing Dance Burnout

Burnout in dance is a state of physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion caused by prolonged stress and overwork in the dance industry. Dancers often push themselves to their limits, leading to burnout which can manifest as feelings of fatigue, lack of motivation, and even physical injuries. To prevent or recuperate from burnout, it is crucial to listen to your body's signals and prioritize self-care. This includes getting enough rest, proper nutrition, and seeking support from healthcare professionals when needed.


One effective way to prevent burnout is to try something different or new in your dance routine. This can help break the monotony and reignite your passion for dancing. Additionally, it is important to remind yourself why you love dancing in the first place.  By participating in the Online Dance Lessons offered by Dance with Ms. Chrystie, you will receive information and instruction about movement, dancing & related activities.  You recognize that this requires physical exertion, which may be strenuous and can cause physical injury, and You are fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

You represent and warrant that you are physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent your full participation in the Online Lessons.

  2.  In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Online dance, movement and related activities, you agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which might incur as a result of participating in the program.

  3. In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the Online Dance Lessons, you knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim you may have against Dance with Ms. Chrystie and/or its agents for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in the program.

  4.  You understand that recording of the Online Dance Lessons is strictly prohibited. You agree to not reproduce, sell, share or distribute any recordings of the Online Dance Lessons.

  5.  You, my heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Dance with Ms. Chrystie and/or its agents for any injury caused by their negligence or other acts.

 I have read the above Release and Waiver of Liability and fully understand its contents. By participating in class I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
